Minivator Wins Business of the Year 2008
Minivator is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the accolade of Black Country Business of the Year Award. The annual Best of the Black Country competition is run by the Express and Star, one of the regions most popular newspapers.
Having previously won the award for Business Growth and Innovation the team at Minivator were delighted to be short listed for this year’s top award. MD Mike Lord together with 19 members from the Minivator team attended the award ceremony at Walsall Football Club on Thursday 27th November. The Express and Star reported:
“The cheers, whoops and whistles that greeted Minivator’s award caught the mood of excitement that was sustained throughout the evening as companies large and small, traditional and new, waited to hear if they had been chosen for one the nine awards.”
Mike Lord told reporters “This is a fantastic end to what has been a great year for Minivator. Our success is down to a team effort and this trophy is for every member of that team.”
In addition to the coveted title Minivator picked up a trophy and a cheque for £1000: this figure has now been matched by the company and the Associates have been invited to make suggestions of how best to utilise the prize money.
The judging process for the award involves a visit to the Head office site in Kingswinford. Judges had the opportunity to talk to any member of the team and afterwards said that the enthusiasm and dedication to doing the job well that they found at every level was a major factor in the decision to name Minivator Business of the Year.
2008 has been a very busy year at Minivator and everyone has worked hard to support our continued growth, this award is testament to another fantastic team effort from Minivator.
