Minivator Confirm Supply to Argos
Minivator have confirmed that they were successful in being selected by Argos as their chosen manufacturer of stairlifts. Minivator are not supplying direct but via Affordable Care who have been Argos’ primary supplier of healthcare/mobility products since 2003.
Ashley Griffiths, MD commented “Our relationship with Argos has strengthened over the years and now is the ideal time to take the next step in expanding their range. With scooters and wheelchairs already doing well adding a stairlift was the next obvious step. We needed a supplier that could not only provide a quality product but also had the flexibility to work with Argos to meet their process needs whilst also supplying the highest levels of service and back up. Minivator fit the bill.”
“The mobility market is consistently evolving and larger players such as Argos will continue to enter the market.” said Minivator’s MD Mike Lord. “We recognised Argos as a supplier who will help to raise awareness and hopefully acceptance levels of mobility products across the UK. We worked together to put stringent procedures in place to ensure the correct specification and safety of the user is paramount at every stage of the process.
Across the industry we are seeing more retail establishments offering products via catalogues to accommodate the needs of those who prefer this method of purchasing. Giving end users a choice of supply routes is not a threat to suppliers. The threats to our industry are posed by the minority who take advantage of vulnerable customers. If Argos being in the market causes those at the less reputable end to raise their game it can only be a good thing for the industry as a whole.”
