Minivator Stairlifts

Having already achieved significant in 2006 Minivator has announced a further 11% growth over the first quarter last year. MD, Mike Lord told THIIS ”We are always encouraged by the way we have continued to grow and are delighted to be able to report growth figures of this stature.” It’s not just sales figures that continue to grow for Minivator, despite outsourcing product overseas their head count is on the up with an almost 9% rise in numbers over last year. Mike went on to say ”Year on year increases in headcount has brought it’s own challenges; whilst the greatest increases have been seen in areas supporting the service that we give to our customers (over 13%) we have seen growth across the business. Having moved to larger premises in Decemeber 2003 we have now had to expand further. Deciding what to move where has taken some in depth planing to ensure the optimum result for the business.”

He went on to explain “Minivator has a strong history of placing focus on both new product developement and product improvement. This expansion programme has created more room for the R&D function meaning that we are able to increase the number of projects that we have in development and improve our time to market. Our new facility is ideally placed next to our headquaters so we are still able to maintain face to face daily contact with Assocaites on the main site.”

Readers of the Magazine will remember that we featured a sneak preview of Minivator’s new Stairlfit Survey system and now visitors to Minivator’s new stand at Naidex had the chance to see the system in action. THIIS is pleased to announce that Mininvator is now inviting delaers to put their name down to be  the first in the marketplace to get their hands on the ESurvey System.

ESurvey is the first product that will be launched in Minivator’s new suite of technological developments all of which will fall under the Evolution banner. the Evloution range will be expanded over the next 18 months and promises a number of new services that will offer new ways for dealers to work in partnership with Minivator whilst also improving the service that they offer to their customer.

Neil Price developed the ESurvey System, he told THIIS “The System is really changing the way we work, not only has it significantly reduced the time spent taking surveys it has further improved the fit of the final product too. ESurvey is proving to be a great success, we have already expanded our Applications team to cope with the demand the system has created and we plan to recruit further as ESurvey is rolled out through the marketplace.”
