Minivator are Best in the Black Country for Growth and Innovation - Monday, November 13th, 2006
Minivator are delighted to announce that they have just won the 2006 Best of the Black Country Award for Business Growth and Innovation. This award is open to any company with a turnover in excess for £20 million that has been trading for at least three years. The benefits of innovation and new product development should be demonstrated along with the use of new technology to aid further business development. The business must show how these achievements compare against industry sector standards as well as giving evidence of corporate sector responsibility. There should be proven examples of employee care and development, and the overall health of the company, liquidity, profit and return on capital employed and highlighted issues.
Competition was tight this year with over 60 companies entering for the award. MD Mike Lord told THIS “This is a fantastic achievement for the team. The judges visited our site to ensure that we aren’t just all talk! We had to be able to demonstrate our track record of ongoing product development and also show how technology is employed not only to improve our products but our services too.” Mike went on to explain “This is truly an award for the all the team, to be successful the judges looked at our history and continued growth. This growth is down to the dedication of every Minivator Associate striving to achieve their best, and of course the support and loyalty that we have seen from our Dealer base. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my thanks to our Dealers for your loyalty to Minivator and also to promise that next year you will have access to some of the technological developments that the panel of judges saw. In fact keep your eyes on THIS magazine, maybe we can give you a sneak preview…
