Minivator Wins Supplier of the Year - Wednesday, March 23rd, 2005

Mike Lord, Managing Director and Tony Mercer Sales Director were proud to accept the award for The Bright Futures Supplier of the Year on behalf of all Associates at Minivator. “We have worked closely with the Bright Futures group (trading as Orthokinetics & Scootermart) to support them with their focus on increasing stairlift sales” said Tony “this has been a particularly beneficial process for all involved and we are all starting to see the fruits of the time and effort everyone invested in promoting this partnership”

John Morgan, Retail Manager for Bright Futures commented “I am delighted the Supplier of the Year award has gone to Minivator. Stairlifts have been our fastest growing category and with joint investment from both companies like for like sales in this category grew by 95% in 2004. Every significant growth curve has its pain but Tony, Mike and the team at Minivator have proved worthwhile and loyal partners and I look forward to the successes of 2004 being significantly built on.”

After receiving the award all associates at the Kingswinford site were called together and told of their success. “This was very much a team effort with associates from various departments getting involved to meet the needs of our customer. It is fantastic to be able to demonstrate to our team that their contribution is appreciated by our customers” Tony concluded.

Minivator Group Moving On UP - Tuesday, March 8th, 2005

Minivator Group is delighted to announce continued strong growth trends with 2004 showing sales growth of 34%. “Whilst our core stairlift range has remained strong in the face of lower specification and lower cost base competition our US venture Sterling Stairlifts has now completed its first full year of trading. Its performance was excellent which has contributed to our continued success” commented MD Mike Lord. “2004 saw us focus on improving service and we are confident our dedication to getting it right for our customers is a primary force driving our sales up” he continued.

Optimistic 2005 will see this trend continue Minivator is already reporting that year on year sales have exceed those for the same period in 2004 and show no sign of slowing.

The latest addition to the Minivator family of products the 303 has also had a fantastic start to the year. Their reclining bath lift has out performed targets for both January and February and looks on course to continue to do so as the year progresses.

Its not just sales that are growing for Minivator, since moving to larger premises in December 2003 the pace of recruitment has been rapid. As a group Minivator realises that service is key and has increased associate levels to ensure that they can fulfill the needs of their customers.

What about Minivator Group; are we likely to see any new additions there in 2005? “Well” said Mike “with sales growth promoting group profitability and our recent refinancing we are in a stronger position than ever to expand our portfolio and are always on the look out for new and exciting propositions, we will have to wait and see…”
