Seminar Success - Wednesday, October 13th, 2004
It was encouraging to find the HealthTrade seminar on ‘The effect of the DDA on the provision of Wheelchair Access Lifts’ so well attended. The seminar was run by Minivator who are RIBA approved to provide training on this topic.
“We have seen a marked upturn in architects requesting this seminar as the deadline approaches” remarked Minivator’s National Dealer Sales Manager for the Public Access division Maurice Feely. “Whilst awareness of the impending changes has increased there is still much confusion as to which lifts are suited to specific applications. Our seminar examines various lift solutions and the associated standards and regulations governing their implementation.”
Minivator, the official supporters of the Interbuild DDA Pavilion, are proud to be associated with the initiative. “This is the first time Interbuild has an area dedicated to the promotion of inclusive design and it will provide an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to familiarise themselves with products that can be utilised to improve access for all” commented Sales Director Tony Mercer. “We will also be running our seminar addressing the Provision of Wheelchair Access Lifts at the show for those wishing to learn more about the topic”
