Frequently asked Questions: Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)
What is The Code of Practice?

The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) issued “A Code of Practice on Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities Services and Premises” in February 2002.

The Code explains how the DDA should be applied. The Code should be considered by the courts where applicable when determining the outcome of action brought under the Act.
